Church has class on vegetarian cooking

The Outreach Committee of the Thousand Oaks Seventh-day Adventist Church will host a vegetarian cooking workshop from 4 to 6 p.m. Sun., June 22 at the church, 480 W. Gainsborough Road, Thousand Oaks.

The event will demonstrate a variety of nutritious recipes using vegetables, legumes, nuts, grains, pasta, fruits and vegetable protein foods.

There is no charge to attend, and the public is invited.
