Their troop, under the leadership of Lauri Herman, worked together to earn the highest achievement award for junior level girls, the Bronze Award, after they learned about chemistry, engineering and basic rocket design. The girls and their dads presented an event for Girl Scouts of all ages exploring rocket science.
