Adoption, foster parent training come to T.O. library

The Children's Bureau will hold an orientation for adults, single or married, interested in becoming adoptive parents for foster children. The orientation will take place 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tues., June 24 at the Grant Brimhall/Thousand Oaks Library, 1401 E. Janss Road.

Qualifying families receive training provided by Children's Bureau, certification, funds and 24-hour support to aid in the care of their adoptive children.

Families who can provide a home for two or more children, enabling brothers and sisters to remain together, are especially needed.
