4-3 score brings home trophies

T.O. Titan All-Star Champions The T.O. Titans, U10G allstar team, recently won their first soccer championship at the Strawberry Cup in Camarillo.

In pool play, the team tied a strong Carpenteria team 3-3 and then won against Saugus 7-0 and Santa Barbara Jets 4-0.

In the final, the Titans faced a strong Santa Barbara Extreme team.

The match went back and forth, and Santa Barbara got two penalty kicks in a five-minute span in the second half. The Titan keeper, with the help of the cross bar, saved both attempts.

With the score 3-3 and time running out, the Titans got a break away and scored a goal. The Titans won 4-3.

This was the Titans' seventh tournament this season, and the team placed in most of them. In the Oxnard Sports Festival, the Titans lost 1-0 in the final.

The team played its last tournament over Memorial Day weekend at the Top Gun Tournament in San Diego.

The team is coached by Par Dannas and Barry Shane.
