Lemonade stands help cancer research

HOBY (Hugh O'Brian Youth) leadership seminary attendees will host 11 Alex's Lemonade Stands as part of the National Lemonade Days weekend from 9 a.m. to noon Sat., June 7 at various locations on the California Lutheran University campus and the surrounding area.

Lemonade Days is a three-day national event that grew out of Alexandra "Alex" Scott's front yard lemonade stand. During Lemonade Days, volunteers host Alex's Lemonade Stands across the country to raise money for childhood cancer research. The goal of the weekend is to raise $1 million.
