Showing their gymnastic skills
     LEG STRETCHES- Boys from Monarchs Gymnastics in Newbury Park perform their skills at the recent "Cirque du Monarchs" show in Newbury Park. More than 300 young Monarchs gymnasts showcased their tumbling, vault, bars, beam and floor skills as the gym celebrated its 30th year in the area. Monarchs also has a studio in Agoura Hills.

      The Westlake Village After Breast Cancer Support Group will hold a meeting from 7 to 9 p.m. Thurs., June 12 at the Wellness Community, 530 Hampshire Road, Westlake Village. Skilled at fencing
     'EN GARDE!'- - John Gardner, a fifth-grader at Weathersfield Elementary School in Thousand Oaks, has won Y10 FoiChampionship titles in two fencing leagues, the Southern California Youth Challenge league and the Pacific CoasChampionships. The latter is a league that includes fencers from Las Vegas, L.A. and San Diego. John's been fencing for two years with coach Phil Hareff of Conejo Valley Fencing Club.
