Color your dad for Father's Day and submit them quickly

Sun., June 15 is Father's Day, and the Thousand Oaks Acorn is inviting you to take out pen, pencil or crayon and draw a picture of dear old dad.

Using the template in the ad on page 30, draw a picture of what your father looks like and send it to Thousand Oaks Acorn, 30423 Canwood St., Ste. 108, Agoura Hills, CA 91301. You can also scan your drawing and send it to dads@theacorn.com.

Dad, don't take it personally. If you've got really big ears, it just means you're a good listener. If your hair isn't quite right, maybe it's because it isn't there anymore.

Dads are special. Show him you care by taking part in this year's "Let's Draw Dad" tribute as explained on page 26. The deadline is 5 p.m. Fri., June 6.
