As part of the grand opening celebration for a new Mazda store, Neftin Westlake Car Company will sponsor a child safety event Fri. and Sat., June 13 and 14.

The dealership will provide parents with a free child safety kit including digital fingerprints and photograph. Local police and fire department personnel and vehicles will be there for children.

The store is in the Thousand Oaks Auto Mall and specializes in Mazda and Volkswagen vehicles. The Neftin family has been providing sales and service in the community for more than 30 years.
