Likes Masry for state Assembly

I met Ferial Masry seven years ago, and I soon learned that when I'd get in her car to go somewhere, I was going to get a history lesson.

She not only taught American history and civics to high school 11th- and 12th-graders, she's a passionate American and passionate about democracy. I came to admire her, and over the years she's taught me many things. Usually when you get to know someone very well, you learn one or two things about them that aren't so great. That never happened with Ferial.

As our friendship has grown, I've admired her more and more. That's why I'm helping in her campaign to get elected to the California Assembly, representing the 37th District.

Ferial has the ability to bring people together, and she already has and will continue to work across the aisle, which is essential to get things done in the California Assembly. Ferial has more common sense than almost anyone I have met.

She also is a straight arrow; dirty tricks aren't in her being, and so she runs a clean campaign, but that's who Ferial is.

Ferial is a hard worker and will make an excellent representative for us. Vote for her on June 3. You won't be sorry.
