Lions cement their legacy in CIF-SS record books
Oaks Christian wins fourth consecutive boys' volleyball championship
      First they witnessed history, and then the Oaks Christian boys' volleyball players went out and made their own mark on the CIFSouthern Section record books.

State championships this weekend at Cerritos College
      A handful of local track and field stars competed last Friday at Cerritos College in the CIF Masters meet. Thanks to several strong performances, many will return to the same venue Friday and Saturday in pursuit of a state championship.

TOHS tandem claims CIF doubles title
     Photo courtesy of Andres Giron WHAT A TEAM- Thousand Oaks High's Marcos Giron, left, and Denis Lin won the CIF doubles championship Saturday at the Seal Beach Tennis Center, defeating top-seeded Tyler Bowman and Jon Kazarian of Peninsula 6-4 and 6-3. According to TOHS head coach Dave Assorson, it's the first doubles title in school history. Giron and Lin just started playing doubles together a month ago after competing as singles players during the regular season.
