A 42-year-old male reportedly drove his vehicle as if he were auditioning for "The Dukes of Hazzard." The subject, according to police, drove recklessly around midnight May 19 along W. Hillcrest Drive from Lawrence Drive at excessive speeds on the wrong side of the road while knocking down construction pylons. He then veered back onto the correct side of the road where he collided with another vehicle. After the crash, the subject traveled 60 feet, reversed his vehicle at a high rate of speed and rammed the vehicle he had just collided with a second time. He was arrested and charged with reckless driving and assault with a deadly weapon.

A husband, 34, and wife, 31, allegedly inflicted injury upon each other and were arrested on a charge of spousal battery around 9:30 p.m. May 19 in the 3900 block of Greenwood Street.

A male, 48, and a female, 48, were arrested and charged with domestic battery at 5 a.m. May 17 in the 2900 block of Shirley Drive.

Two juveniles were arrested and charged with stealing a woman's purse from an unlocked apartment on May 16 in the 1800 block of W. Hillcrest Drive. The crime occurred April 29.

A male, 24, was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance at 4:30 p.m. May 16 in the 4000 block of Barcelona Place.

A male, 52, allegedly stole a pair of sunglasses around 11:20 a.m. May 20 in the 2600 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

A male, 30, reportedly stole merchandise from Kohl's at 1960 Newbury Road, and gave police a false name, date of birth and phone number at 4:50 p.m. May 20. The subject was also said to possess a false DMV identification card.

Prescription medication and cash were stolen from a home in the 2200 block of Adrian Street between May 15 and 17.

Vandals put a hole into someone's bedroom with an unknown projectile between May 12 and 15 in the 300 block of Jenny Drive.

Property was stolen on May 13 or 14 in the 100 block of Heavenly Valley Road.

A vandal damaged property in the 1500 block of Arroyo View on May 3 or 4.

On suspicion of selling ice cream from a cart without a permit, a male, 19, was arrested at 2:50 p.m. May 20 at Avenida de La Plata, north of Calle Zafiro.

A vandal used a BB or pellet gun to shatter a home's glass door around 11:30 p.m. May 21 in the 100 block of Dos Vientos Drive.

A petty theft occurred between May 4 and 10 in the 1900 block of Oracle Street.

Vehicle break-ins occurred on the following dates and places: On May 15 or 16 in the 1800 block of W. Hillcrest Drive; between May 10 and 12 in the 1800 block of W. Hillcrest Drive; on May 20 in the 1700 block of W. Hillcrest Drive (a briefcase containing various items was stolen); on May 21 or 22 in the 1000 block of Meadowcrest Street (passenger window broken); and on May 16 or 17 in the 1200 block of Ramona Drive (a stereo, GPS navigator and $10 in change from the center console stolen).

A vehicle's rear window was broken on May 14 or 15 in the 1000 block of Via Impresso.

A thief attempted to break into a locked tool compartment on a truck between May 16 and 19 in the 900 block of Lawrence Drive.

A vandal threw a dumbbell into a vehicle's windshield around 1:10 a.m. May 17 in the 2500 block of Michael Drive.

Part of a rear car window was shattered on May 20 or 21 in the 400 block of Jenny Drive. Nothing, however, was stolen.

Thousand Oaks

A female, 29, drove into two parked vehicles and was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol at 8:25 p.m. May 10 in the 1000 block of Evenstar Avenue. Reportedly, the subject, who was driving in violation of a prior DUI offense, also had an open container of alcohol in her vehicle.

Two juveniles were arrested on grand theft auto and other charges on May 16 for crimes committed May 8 in the 200 block of W. Hillcrest Drive. The subjects also allegedly possessed a woman's purse, which was stolen from a locked vehicle.

The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol at the times, dates and places indicated: A male, 64, at 9:52 p.m. May 13 on the 101 Freeway at Moorpark Road onramp heading southbound; a male, 32, at 10:29 p.m. May 16 in the 1100 block of Lindero Canyon Road; a male, 33, at 12:56 a.m. May 17 in the 1000 block of Burtonwood Avenue (subject was involved in a hit-and-run traffic collision); and a male, 19, at 12:45 a.m. May 18 at Greenheath Place north of Green Meadow Avenue (subject was involved in a traffic collision on Moorpark Road north of Greenmeadow Drive, admitted to an officer that he was drinking prior to driving and had preliminary alcohol screen tests of 0.125 and 0.132 blood-alcohol content).

A male, 20, crashed his bicycle into a fire hydrant and admitted to consuming alcohol and possibly being intoxicated around 7:04 p.m. May 17 on Thousand Oaks Boulevard near the 23 Freeway.

On suspicion of being under the influence of controlled substances, the following subjects were arrested: A female, 27, at 6:55 p.m. May 16 in the 1000 block of Calle Margarita; a male, 42, at 5:25 p.m. May 16 at Sierra Drive and Clearwater Street (subject also allegedly possessed a syringe); and a male, 41, at 9 p.m. May 16 in the 1400 block of Kirk Avenue.

Two males, ages 50 and 42, were involved in a physical altercation that took place around 7:13 p.m. May 16 in the 4700 block of Club View Drive.

A female, 46, got into a fight around 10:12 p.m. April 7 in the 2700 block of E. Sierra Drive, but wasn't cited until 2:50 p.m. May 12 at East Valley Sheriff's Station.

A female, 43, was arrested and charged with spousal battery at 10 a.m. May 19 in the 3000 block of Marigold Place.

A male, 45, allegedly caused traumatic injury and was arrested on a charge of domestic battery at 3:45 p.m. May 18 in the 1800 block of Fordham Avenue.

A male, 42, was arrested on charges of making criminal threats and brandishing a deadly weapon at 1:45 p.m. May 16 in the 800 block of Warwick Avenue.

For giving false information to a police officer, a male, 31, was arrested and charged at 12:40 a.m. May 16 at Hampshire and Townsgate roads.

Two females, 40 and 37, were cited for animal endangerment at 9 p.m. May 15 in the 2200 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

A male, 29, allegedly stole Freon from air conditioning units at an apartment complex May 19 in the 300 block of Hodencamp Road.

On charges of knowingly passing a fraudulent check and receiving goods in the 1000 block of E. Avenida de Los Arboles, a female, 37, was arrested at 2:15 p.m. May 16 at East Valley Sheriff's Station.

A male, 21, was arrested and charged with shoplifting in a Rite Aid at 205 N. Moorpark Road at 11:35 a.m. May 20.

For soliciting goods from her catering truck on a public street without a permit, a female, 47, was cited at 12:20 p.m. May 20 at Cord Avenue and Auto Mall Drive.

For soliciting from a catering truck without a permit, a male, 58, was cited at 8:15 a.m. May 19 at Royal Oaks Drive and Hampshire Road.

The mirror in a men's restroom in the 300 block of Rolling Oaks Drive was vandalized around lunchtime May 15.

A purse was stolen at 1:29 p.m. May 9 at a business in the 2200 block of N. Moorpark Road. Three people were seen on video working together to coordinate the theft.

A mailbox was vandalized April 28 or 29 in the 1300 block of Uppingham Drive.

Vandalism occurred at Meadows Reservoir in the 1600 block of Shadow Oaks Drive between May 12 and 15.

An air conditioner was stolen from a business in the first block of Long Court between May 9 and 16.

Gang graffiti was placed on a wooden fence on May 15 or 16 in the 700 block of Avenida de Los Arboles.

A vandal caused property damage on May 4 in the 800 block of Calle Pensamiento.

Vehicle break-ins occurred on the following dates and places: On May 17 or 18 in the 300 block of E. Wilbur Road; on May 20 or 21 in the 500 block of Sorrento Circle (unlocked); between 5 and 6:30 p.m. May 16 in the 2900 block of Capella Way (unlocked); on May 9 or 10 in the 3300 block of Holly Grove Street (jewelry stolen); and on May 18 in the 700 block of Masterson Drive (thief entered two unlocked vehicles, stealing a backpack and a pair of sunglasses).

A vandal punctured tires on May 15 or 16 in the 3200 block of Luther Avenue.

A tailgate was stolen from a vehicle on May 14 or 15 in the 1600 block of Hendrix Avenue.

A wheel and tire were stolen from a vehicle on May 13 or 14 in the 700 block of Blue Oak Avenue.

Windows of a vehicle were smashed on May 17 or 18 in the 1800 block of Berkshire Road.

A vehicle window was broken on May 12 or 13 in the 3100 block of Woodgreen Court.

Vandals threw a large rock at a vehicle on May 18 or 19 in the 800 block of Calle Pensamiento.

Copper piping and metal valued at more than $400 were stolen from a front yard around 8:30 a.m. May 15 in the 2900 block of Camino Del Zuro.

A thief entered a home with the intent to commit a theft, but nothing was taken around 4 a.m. May 20 in the first block of W. Gainsborough Road.

Property was stolen from a patio on May 15 in the 300 block of Hodencamp Road.

Graffiti vandalism was applied to property on May 19 or 20 in the 3000 block of Camino Calandria.

For drinking in public, a male, 60, was cited at 2:03 p.m. May 15 in the 700 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

On charges of concealing a bottle of vodka and walking out of a store without paying for it, a male, 37, was arrested at 8:30 p.m. May 16 in the 1700 block of Moorpark Road. The subject reportedly has a prior violation of the same offense.

A male, 18, was cited for disorderly conduct at 7 a.m. May 17 in the 200 block of W. Janss Road.

A male, 52, was arrested on suspicion of drinking in public and failing to appear at his court date at 7:55 a.m. May 15 in the first block of Rancho Road.

A female, 50, was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance at 4:45 p.m. May 16 in the 3200 block of Blue Ridge Court.

For suspected sales of a controlled substance and transportation of them, a male, 33, was arrested and charged at 12:10 a.m. May 16 at Westlake and Thousand Oaks boulevards.
