Angry at those who stole 'No on B' signs Since I believe infull disclosure, I'm a member of the volunteer citizens' committee opposed to Measure B. As part of my volunteer efforts I have asked neighbors to place "No on Measure B" signs in their yards. Over the past two weeks the yard signs began disappearing. I then replaced them. They disappeared again. Then, by chance, I saw a known proponent of the opposition actually removing my signs. I know politics is contentious, especially at the local level, but to deliberately go onto someone's property and remove a political sign is trespassing. It's illegal and denies a person's right of free expression in a civil democracy. Our campaign takes great care to place our signs where individuals and businesses have requested them. And they're being systematically removed by the yes on B campaign. I ask the yes on B supporters, neighbor to neighbor, to stop engaging in this type of activity immediately. It's ironic that one of their claims is that Measure B will give citizens a right to vote, and yet they're collectively trying to prevent fellow citizens from their right to voice opinions in a free and democratic way. Please, let's stop the sign removals and let the citizens decide, based on facts, which way they wish to vote on Measure B. At least that way the democratic process is working.
