Chamber's Community Foundation honors outstanding leaders

The Thousand OaksWestlake Village Community Foundation will present the sixth annual Spirit of Community Awards Celebration from 7 to 9 p.m. Thurs., June 5 at the Los Robles Greens Banquet Center, 299 S. Moorpark Road, Thousand Oaks.

The event honors the area's top educators, a community volunteer, law enforcement agencies, fire protection agencies, a local nonprofit organization, and the armed forces for contributing their time and effort to making the cities of Thousand Oaks and Westlake Village better places to live and work.

The evening features a dessert reception and awards presentation. Tickets are $27 per person and must be purchased by tomorrow, May 30. The public is invited.
