Bennett deserves to sit on the bench I urge all voters to cast their ballot for Superior Court Judge for Jeff Bennett. I worked with Jeff in the Ventura district attorney's office for 14 years. Jeff worked as a police officer for nine years before joining the Ventura DA's office in l989. He quickly rose to major fraud supervisor and then to chief deputy district attorney. He's done outstanding work in every position he's held. Jeff is a Ventura County native and a participant in community activities. He and his wife, Dee, a teacher, have two daughters, and he has volunteered for youth sports activites and educational enrichment programs. Most importantly, I know Jeff to have the personal qualities a judge should possess. Jeff is eventempered, fair, intelligent and honest. And of great importance, Jeff has common sense and excellent judgment. Jeff treats all people with courtesy and respect, and he listens to them. It's no surprise that Jeff has earned the endorsements of numerous county leaders, including Sheriff Bob Brooks, retired district attorney Mike Bradbury and current District Attorney Greg Totten, four police chiefs and numerous elected officials, including the mayors of Oxnard, Santa Paula, Moorpark, Thousand Oaks and Simi Valley, as well as county supervisors Peter Foy and Linda Parks, and current superior court judges James Cloninger and presiding Judge Colleen Toy White. Jeff has all the qualities of an exceptional superior court judge, and I urge Ventura County voters to cast their votes for him. Pete Kossoris Thousand Oaks |
