Committees need volunteers in T.O.

The city of Thousand Oaks is seeking residents interested in serving on the investment review committee and the cooperative library system advisory board.

There are two vacancies on the Investment Review Committee. The purpose of the committee is to review quarterly investment reports and conduct annual reviews of investment policy for changes.

Applicants must be city residents, must file a statement of economic interest within 30 days of appointment and annually thereafter, and be qualified professionals with backgrounds in the fields of finance and investments.

There's one opening for the cooperative library system advisory board. The purpose of the board is to serve as a communication link between the members' communities and the system. Applicants must be city residents.

There are 30 libraries or library systems in Ventura, Los Angeles and Orange counties that are members of the cooperative library system.

Applications must be received by Fri., June 13.
