Adoption group to have orientation meeting

Children's Bureau will have an orientation for adults, single or married, interested in becoming adoptive parents for foster children. It will take place 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tues., May 27 at the Grant Brimhall/Thousand Oaks Library, 1401 E. Janss Road.

Qualifying families get training provided by Children's Bureau, certification, funds and 24hour support to aid in the care of their adoptive children. Families who can provide a home for two or more children, so brothers and sisters can remain together, are especially needed.
