TOHS student earns scholarship

High school senior Lauren Garcia of Thousand Oaks is one of 20 students to receive the Ignatian Leaders Scholarship at Gonzaga University for the 200809 academic year.

The scholarship, which was established to recognize academic merit, leadership qualities and community service, is worth $20,000 over four years.
