Any kind of travel beats the internal combustion engine

In all my years living in Newbury Park I thought I saw everything there is to see until today, Sunday morning, April 20. While chatting with some neighbors, a chariot came by being pulled by two Alaskan huskies. Of course one of our neighbors was riding the chariot.

At last, one of our neighbors took it upon himself to fight global warming and the high cost of gasoline. I should have videotaped the chariot and huskies and sent the video to Venezuela and Saudi Arabia. I envision the day when chariots drawn by Alaskan huskies will dominate the 101, followed by a street sweeper to sweep up the droppings.

As our husky-drawn neighbor passed by, I wonder what kind of a driver's test would the DMV administer to qualify our neighbor for his innovative mode of transportation?

What would happen to our neighbor if the huskies sighted a female husky on the road, a neighbor's dog or cat or a tree to their fancy?

Regardless of the mishaps, I give our neighbor high marks for advancing the crusade for alternative energy. Samuel Rosen Newbury Park
