Sheriff's Blotter Newbury Park A male, 44, was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance at 7:30 a.m. April 22 in the 1300 block of Alessandro Drive. A male, 25, was allegedly under the influence of prescription medication and involved in a traffic collision in the 2200 block of Michael Drive. A commercial water pump from a trailer was stolen between April 18 and 21 at Conejo Center and Lawrence drives. Gang graffiti defaced property between April 11 and 18 in the 1600 block of Calle Diamonte. Vehicle break-ins occurred on the following dates and places: On April 21 or 22 in the 400 block of Danville Avenue; on April 20 or 21 in the 500 block of Cayo Grande Court (clothing stolen); on April 20 or 21 in the 3700 block of S. San Vincente Circle; and on April 19 or 20 in the 2900 block of Theresa Drive (unlocked). On charges of being drunk in public, a male, 21, was arrested at 11:22 p.m. April 22 in the 1600 block of Calle Tourquesa. Thousand Oaks During a traffic stop, a female passenger, 25, was arrested on charges of possessing a pill bottle that contained balloons filled with a substance believed to be heroin. The suspect also had four prescription bottles which didn't belong to her. Police found a small bag of a substance believed to be methamphetamine on the ground where she'd been sitting. The driver, a 26-year-old male, was cited for possessing marijuana. On suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, the following subjects were arrested at the times, dates and places indicated: A male, 28, at 10:30 p.m. April 23 at Conejo Boulevard and Hillcrest Drive; a female, 36, at 2:20 p.m. April 23 in the 2500 block of Willow Lane (subject was allegedly seen attempting to leave a California Pizza Kitchen at 2200 E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard with her children while she was intoxicated); and a female, 46, in the 2200 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard (subject had three children as passengers at the time her vehicle was stopped). A male, 21, was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance at 4:50 p.m. April 18 in the 500 block of Laurie Lane. For allegedly battering his wife by pushing her down the stairs, a male, 62, was arrested at 9:34 p.m. April 21 in the 400 block of Via Colinas. His wife, 39, was also arrested, cited and then released for allegedly throwing and hitting her husband with a shoe. A male, 34, allegedly pushed his wife and tore her shirt during an argument around 2 a.m. April 23 in the 700 block of Brossard Drive. Property valued at $14,500 was stolen from a business on April 20 or 21 in the 500 block of Pennsfield Place. A male, 30, was arrested and charged with stealing about $10,000 worth of property from an unlocked building at 7:45 p.m. April 21 at Thousand Oaks Boulevard and Marmon Avenue. The subject also reportedly possessed several other pieces of stolen property. A thief stole more than $400 in valuables from a garage between March 8 and April 20 in the 900 block of Vista Ridge Lane. A male, 19, was arrested April 21 for alleged connection to two separate commercial burglaries committed in the 200 block of Moorpark Road. During an investigation of two separate burglaries at Cold Stone Creamery at 215 Moorpark Road, a male, 19, was subsequently arrested and charged at 8 a.m. April 21. A male, 40, was arrested on a shoplifting charge at Rite Aid in the 200 block of N. Moorpark Road at 6:14 p.m. April 22. Vehicle break-ins occurred on the following dates and places: On April 22 or 23 in the 1700 block of W. Hillcrest Drive; on April 21 or 22 in the 300 block of Rolling Oaks Drive; on April 16 or 17 in the 300 block of Rolling Oaks Drive (windows smashed and property stolen from two vehicles); between 4 and 5 p.m. April 16 in the 2400 block of Willow Lane (unlocked); on April 18 or 19 in the 2600 block of Calle Abedul (burglar broke into two vehicles but didn't steal any property); and on April 18 or 19 in the 1900 block of Rosewood Court. A vandal smashed a rear driver's window with an unknown object on April 18 or 19 in the 500 block of Phlox Court. Tires on two vehicles were punctured on April 19 or 20 in the 400 block of E. Hillcrest Drive. A female, 41, was arrested on petty theft charges at 9:35 p.m. April 23 in the 500 block of W. Hillcrest Drive. For driving while in possession of marijuana, a male, 18, was cited one evening last week at Westlake Boulevard and Avenida de Los Arboles. A vandal caused about $2,000 in damage by throwing a bat and breaking a glass window and display case on April 21 or 22 in the 1700 block of N. Moorpark Road. Grand theft occurred between Jan. 1 and April 9 in the 1000 block of Terrace Hill Circle. The crime was only recently reported. Benches at Conejo Creek Park North were vandalized with gang graffiti on April 16 or 17. Graffiti caused damage to a block wall fence in the 200 block of Encino Vista Drive on April 20 or 21. Spray-painted graffiti was discovered on property April 22 in the 700 block of Rutgers Court. A petty theft occurred around 5:30 p.m. April 20 in the 2000 block of Los Feliz Drive. Shoplifting occurred between 8:55 and 9:35 p.m. April 23 in the 500 block of W. Hillcrest Drive. A burglar on April 17 or 18 damaged and stole property belonging to Los Robles Golf Course on Moorpark Road. Property valued at more than $400 was stolen March 10 in the 2400 block of Willow Lane. The crime was only recently reported. An attempted burglary occurred between 8:40 and 9 p.m. April 18 in the 300 block of N. Moorpark Road. Grand theft occurred on April 19 or 20 in the 1400 block of E. Janss Road. A burglar stole property from a home in the 3100 block of W. Sierra Drive between 12:30 and 4:45 p.m. April 17. A Thousand Oaks Little League snack shack at 1500 E. Hillcrest Drive was broken into on April 19 or 20. Westlake/T.O. A commercial burglary occurred between 7:16 and 7:45 p.m. April 21 in the 3700 block of Automall Drive. |
