Kaitlynn Bronte, daughter of Susann and Jeff Bronte of Thousand Oaks, was called to the Torah as a bat mitzvah on March 1 at Temple Etz Chaim in Thousand Oaks. Kaitlynn is a seventh-grade honor student at Redwood Middle School.

Alex Irvin, son of Terrie and Larry Irvin of Thousand Oaks, was called to the Torah as a bar mitzvah on March 8 at Temple Etz Chaim in Thousand Oaks. Alex attends Kadima Heschel West Middle School.
