After being stopped for a traffic violation, police discovered two methamphetamine pipes in a 46year-old woman's purse at 1:22 p.m. April 7 on Calle Turquesa, east of Avenida de La Plata.
On suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, a male, 23, was arrested at 12:58 a.m. April 9 at the intersection of Maurice Drive and Clearwater Creek. The subject reeked of alcohol and admitted to drinking alcohol, but refused to take field sobriety tests, and he later admitted to being addicted to a prescription medication.
The following subjects were arrested for being under the influence of controlled substances: A male, 37, at 11:30 p.m. April 5 in the 500 block of N. Ventu Park Road (subject possessed a glass methamphetamine smoking pipe); and a female, 28, at 11:15 p.m. April 5 in the 500 block of N. Ventu Park Road.
A BB gun broke a passenger window on a vehicle on March 30 or 31 in the 600 block of Paseo La Perla.
A thief attempted to steal property around 5:40 a.m. April 2 in the 2400 block of Teller Road.
In a gang-related offense, vandals spray-painted property in the 3000 block of Wauneta Street on April 3 or 4.
Property was stolen from a home between April 1 and 5 in the 600 block of Rudman Drive.
A shoplifter stole items from Radio Shack at 2110 Newbury Road at 1:31 p.m. April 3.
A vandal pulled plants in a garden on April 4 or 5 in the 400 block of Havenside Avenue.
Property was stolen from a business on April 5 or 6 in the 600 block of Camino De La Luna.
A gas tank of a dirt compactor was damaged when a vandal drilled holes into it between March 31 and April 4 in the first block of Academy Drive.
A vandal spray-painted graffiti on a wall April 6 or 7 in the 3400 block of William Drive.
Vehicle break-ins occurred on the following dates and places: On April 2 or 3 in the 3200 block of Gerald Drive; on April 2 or 3 in the 700 block of Malat Drive (window smashed); on April 3 in the 3400 block of Cary Court (window smashed); on April 2 or 3 in the 800 block of Jenny Drive (unlocked); on April 7 or 8 in the 2400 block of Adrian Street (window broken); on April 7 or 8 in the 2400 block of N. Adrian Street; on April 5 in the 1100 block of Ramona Drive (side window broken); and on April 5 or 6 in the 700 block of S. Westover Place; on April 5 or 6 in the 700 block of Westover Place (window smashed).
A vandal damaged vehicle doors with a sharp object from 10 a.m. to noon on April 2 in the 2200 block of Michael Drive.
Thousand Oaks
On suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, the following subjects were arrested at the times, dates and places indicated: A male, 35, at 12:29 a.m. April 6 at the intersection of Wilbur Road and Moorpark Road; a male, 22, at 7:27 p.m. April 4 at Sapra Street and Valley High Avenue (also under the influence of marijuana); and a male, 41, at 11:45 p.m. April 7 at Flittner Circle and Benson Way.
A male, 20, was arrested for allegedly possessing several controlled substances, paraphernalia and stolen property at 7:59 a.m. April 2 in the 1700 block of Moorpark Road. The subject also was under the influence of a controlled substance.
The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of controlled substances: A female, 21, at 7:18 p.m. April 5 in the 1700 block of Camino Dos Rios (subject was under the influence of a substance believed to be heroin, possessed it and had a straw with residue on it); a female, 44, at 10:20 a.m. April 3 in the 1800 block of Los Feliz Drive (subject was under the influence of a substance believed to be methamphetamine and possessed a syringe); a male, 38, at 6:30 p.m. April 4 at Camino Calandria and Camino La Maida (the unlicensed driver also possessed a controlled substance and a smoking device); a male, 20, at 8:45 p.m. April 5 at Thousand Oaks Boulevard and Hodencamp Road; a male, 18, at 8:50 p.m. April 5 at Thousand Oaks Boulevard and Hodencamp Road; a male, 48, at 1:26 p.m. April 6 in the 2400 block of W. Hillcrest Drive; a female, 33, at 7:32 p.m. April 6 in the 100 block of E. Hillcrest Drive (subject was allegedly under the influence of a stimulant); a female, 38, at 7:32 p.m. April 6 at Sears at 145 W. Hillcrest Drive (subject possessed a smoking device); and a female, 19, at 7:59 a.m. April 2 in the 1700 block of N. Moorpark Road (subject also possessed several different substances, paraphernalia and stolen property).
On suspicion of driving under the influence of prescription medication, a male, 22, was arrested at 11 p.m. April 2 at Sunset Hills Road and Erbes Road.
A male, 26, was arrested on charges of possessing Dilaudid, a controlled substance, and for living in his vehicle, a violation of a city ordinance, at 10:22 a.m. April 5 at Calle Clavel and Calle Jazmin.
A female, 21, was arrested on charges of domestic violenceat 2:08 a.m. April 5 in the 1800 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.
A female, 19, allegedly stole someone's identity and forged stolen checks in the 100 block of N. Moorpark Road, and was arrested for the crimes at East Valley Sheriff's Station at 12:50 p.m. April 8.
Shoplifters stole merchandise from Victoria's Secret at 248 W. Hillcrest Drive around 5:50 p.m. April 7.
Merchandise was stolen from the Lucky Brand clothing store at 222 W. Hillcrest Drive on April 4 or 5.
Property was stolen between 7 and 8:19 p.m. April 5 in the 100 block of Promenade Way.
A male, 18, allegedly used markers to write graffiti on a wall on Calle Jazmin south of Avenida de Las Flores around 1:10 p.m. April 2.
On charges of entering the country illegally, a male, 25, was arrested at 4:45 p.m. April 7 in the 1200 block of Encino Vista Court.
Thieves stole property valued over $400 from a USA Gas station on 1640 N. Moorpark Road between March 22 and April 2.
Vehicle break-ins occurred on the following dates and places: On April 1 in the 400 block of Tuolumne Avenue (window broken, purse stolen); on April 1 or 2 in the 4500 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard; from April 3 to 5 in the 2900 block of Raleigh Place (window smashed); on April 4 or 56 in the 1100 block of Calle Castano; two vehicles on April 4 or 5 in the 3000 block of Camino Del Zuro; on April 7 in the 1000 block of El Segundo Drive (approximately $1,140 of property was stolen from unlocked vehicle); on Jan. 6 or 7 in the 200 block of E. Blueberry Lane (crime was only recently reported); on April 6 or 7 in the 5600 block of Paige Lane (unlocked); on April 8 in the 3700 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard (part of vehicle was unlocked); on April 5 or 6 in the 1500 block of Bridgegate Street (unlocked); on April 4 or 5 in the 800 block of Calle Haya (window broken); on April 4 or 5 in the 1700 block of W. Hillcrest Drive; and on April 4 or 5 in the 500 block of W. Gainsborough Road.
A burglar entered a garage and broke the window of a vehicle on April 5 or 6 in the 3200 block of Versailles Court.
A set of four tires and wheels were stolen from a business on April 3 or 4 in the 3900 block of Auto Mall Drive.
Paint was scratched off every panel on a vehicle on April 6 or 7 in the 1500 block of E. Dorado Drive. The damage is estimated at $2,000.
A rear window of someone's vehicle was smashed in the middle of the day on March 31 in the 1900 block of Los Feliz Drive.
A residential burglary occurred on April 1 from 10 a.m. to 12:55 p.m. in the 1400 block of Fordham Avenue.
Spray paint was discovered on a drainage tunnel near the 300 block of Lombard Street on April 8.
Graffiti was discovered at an apartment complex in the 800 block of W. Avenida de Los Arboles on March 28.
In a gang-related crime, graffiti caused damage to property from April 4 to 7 in the 1200 block of Windsor Drive.
Gang graffiti defaced property on April 5 or 6 in the 1900 block of Los Feliz Drive.
Gang-related graffiti was discovered on property near Wilbur Road and Warwick Avenue on April 8.
Gang graffiti was sprayed on property at Thousand Oaks Community Park on April 5 or 6
Gang graffiti was discovered on property April 6 in the 1900 block of Los Feliz Drive.
Property valued at more than $400 was stolen from Marty's Hobbies at 1728 N. Moorpark Road from March 9 to March 16. The incident was only recently reported.
Property was stolen from a dorm between March 13 and 24 in the 3200 block of Luther Avenue. The crime was only recently reported.
Burglars stole property from a business on April 4 or 5 in the 400 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.
A residential burglary occurred on April 3 in the 100 block of W. Janss Road.
Unknown suspects ordered food at a Denny's at 50 E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard and left the restaurant without paying the bill around 3:30 p.m. April 3.
Property was removed from an open garage on April 5 or 6 in the 1100 block of Brookview Avenue.
A cellular phone that cost $400 was stolen on Feb. 16 or 17 in the first block of W. Thousand Oaks Boulevard, but the crime was only recently reported.
Property from a front porch was stolen on April 5 or 6 in the 2800 block of Rikkard Drive.
A burglar changed the locks on someone's home to complete a $400 theft between March 30 and April 6 in the 200 block of Calle Jazmin.
On charges of being drunk in public, a male, 38, was arrested at 9:53 p.m. April 5 on Moorpark Road, south of Hillcrest Drive. Subject was lying on the sidewalk when the police found him.
A male, 25, was arrested for allegedly being too drunk to care for himself at 9:15 p.m. April 7 at Erbes Road and Meadowbrook Court.

A male, 42, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol at 2:54 a.m. April 5 at Westlake Boulevard and Triunfo Canyon Road.
A male, 50, was cited for trespassing at 2:15 p.m. April 8 in the 200 block of Westlake Boulevard.
A male, 49, was sleeping on the patio of a business with a half empty bottle of vodka by his side at 10 a.m. April 7 in the 2700 block of Agoura Road. The subject had trouble sitting up, and was arrested for being drunk in public and for having misdemeanor arrest warrants.
