Red Cross honors volunteers

The American Red Cross of Ventura County celebrated its volunteers at a recent volunteer recognition event.

Following private museum tours, dinner and entertainment at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library, special recognition was given to the following honorees:

Trina Hole: Disaster Services Award

Carlos Reyes, Ola's MexGrill of Camarillo: Good Neighbor Award

Kim Landry of Simi Valley: Health and Safety Award

The Ventura County Fire Department: Partnership Award

David Bayer: Rookie of the Year Award

Gwen and Gerry Wong of Camarillo: Service to the Armed Forces Award

Maria Tello: Unsung Hero Award

Doug Graham of Moorpark: Volunteer Fundraiser Award

James Jee of Thousand Oaks: Youth Services Award

Steve Caplan of Newbury Park: Stark Memorial Volunteer of the Year Award

The Red Cross of Ventura County thanks its 1,200 volunteers for their service to the Ventura County Community.
