Several groups oppose Measure B

     MOURNING THE LOSS OF A FELLOW STUDENT--Unidentified young people leave the funeral service for Cody Murphy at Calvary Community Church. The memorial service was last Saturday. Cody, a junior at Newbury Park High School, was killed in a one-vehicle car crash on April 8.

Adult school plans Solvang trip
      Conejo Valley Adult School is sponsoring a bus trip to Solvang from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sat., May 17, leaving from the parking lot of the school, 1025 Old Farm Road, Thousand Oaks. The trip is open to the pub lic, and will include lunch at a Danish restaurant, shopping and sight-seeing.

Nance, creative director for Weiser Creative Group/Weiser Litho Inc. based in Westlake Village, helped put together a 37-second advertisement as part of Heinz ketchup's "Top This TV Challenge Take 2.
