'Answers for Women' series to begin at EV Free Church

The EV Free Church will host a three-part Answers for Women Lecture Series at 7 p.m. beginning Thurs., April 24 at the Grant Brimhall/Thousand Oaks Library, 1401 E. Janss Road.

Connie Larson will speak on overcoming depression, anxiety and worry without medications by turning to spiritual guidance.

Larson has a master's degree in biblical counseling and has counseled women for more than 30 years.

Each lecture is $10 but those who register for the entire series in advance will receive a free copy of the book "Will Medicine Stop the Pain?' by Elyse Fitzpatrick and Laura Hendrickson, MD.
