Robotics classes coming to T.O.

Robotics classes are scheduled from 1 to 4 p.m. Sat., April 12 and May 10. Both classes are for children ages 10 to 14 at Sophie's Education Corner, 2699 Thousand Oaks Blvd., Thousand Oaks.

The fourth annual Robotics Camp/Workshop will be from 9 a.m. to noon Mon. to Fri., Aug. 11 to 15 daily for children ages 10 to 14 at Sophie's Education Corner.

These programs will use California Science Standards to create robots, robotic creatures and robotic vehicles. Goals and objectives will be created by setting tasks using Robotix kits.

Children will have an opportunity to realize the importance of math, science and engineering and work both individually and in a team or group environment.
