Healthy Kids Day comes to Thousand Oaks

The Conejo Valley YMCA's "Healthy Kids Day" will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sat., April 12 at the YMCA, 4031 N. Moorpark Road, Thousand Oaks.

The event will feature physical activities for children, including an inflatable obstacle course/bounce house and a climbing wall.

The Ventura County Sheriff's Department's K9 unit will hold a demonstration, and the fire department and paramedics will have equipment on display.

Facility tours, YMCA program demonstrations and prize giveaways will be provided throughout the day. Healthy snacks will be available.
