Author will speak on lost history

The Thousand Oaks Branch of AAUW will present "Women's Lost History" at 7:30 p.m. Thurs., April 17 at the Thousand Oaks Inn, 75 W. Thousand Oaks Blvd.

Sharan Newman, a medieval historian and author of several books, including "The Real History Behind the Da Vince Code" and "The Real History Behind the Templars," will speak.

A donation of $10 per person is requested. Coffee, tea and a dessert bar are included.

Reservations are recommended as seating is limited.
