Bowling Bash to raise bucks

The Westlake Village Junior Women's Club will hold a Bowling Bash fundraiser from 7 to 11 p.m. Sat., March 8 at Harley's Simi Bowl, 480 E. Los Angeles Ave., Simi Valley.

The event will feature music, a buffet dinner catered by Wood Ranch Barbecue and Grill, and dessert donated by SusieCakes in Calabasas.

A variety of contests will be held, and prizes will be given.

There will also be a silent auction including items such as tickets to ABC's "Dancing With The Stars," spa and beauty treatments, a weekend getaway at the Westlake Village Inn, dinners at local restaurants, celebrity memorabilia, photography sessions and tickets to sporting events.

The event is open to the public. Tickets are $50, which includes the buffet dinner.

Proceeds from the event will be donated to local charities.
