Newbury Park

During an undercover narcotics operation, a male, 19, was arrested on charges of selling marijuana and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at 7:20 p.m. Jan. 17 in the 800 block of Wendy Drive.

A male, 52, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol at 8:36 p.m. Jan. 21 in the 1600 block of Lawrence Drive.

On suspicion of being under the influence of controlled substances, the following subjects were arrested: A female, 22, at 11:55 a.m. Jan. 23 in the first block of N. Jerome Avenue; a male, 21, at 11:20 a.m. Jan. 23 in the first block of N. Jerome Avenue; a male, 22, at 7:50 p.m. Jan. 19 at Ventu Park Road and Hillcrest Drive; a male, 23, at 2:57 p.m. Jan. 19 in the 2000 block of W. Hillcrest Drive; and a male, 23, at 3:09 p.m. Jan. 19 in the 1000 block of Broadbeck Drive.

A laptop computer was stolen between 2:30 and 11 p.m. Jan. 18 in the 1300 block of Newbury Road.

A male, 19, was arrested and charged with selling marijuana or another controlled substance at 7:20 p.m. Jan. 17 in the 800 block of N. Wendy Drive.

Two people stole alcohol from a CVS Pharmacy on Reino Road Jan. 19 or 20.

For possessing less than an ounce of marijuana, a male, 19, was cited at 8:54 p.m. Jan. 23 at Newbury Road and Giant Oak Avenue.

On a charge of selling bootleg DVDs and CDs, a male, 26, was arrested at 11:23 a.m. Jan. 19 in the 600 block of Avenida Del Platino.

On suspicion of presenting a false government document, a male, 25, was arrested at 3:20 p.m. Jan. 17 in the 100 block of Beech Road.

For allegedly using a false permanent resident card to conceal his true citizenship, a male, 21, was arrested at 4:45 p.m. Jan. 17 in the 500 block of Avenida de La Plata.

Vehicle break-ins were reported on the following dates and places: On Dec. 8 at the intersection of Kimber Drive and Via Rio (crime from unlocked vehicle was only recently reported); on Jan. 19 or 20 at Hodencamp Road and Wilbur Drive; and on Jan. 17 or 18 in the 200 block of Marjori Avenue (unlocked).

Thousand Oaks

A male, 49, was arrested on suspicion of stealing a vehicle at 1:37 p.m. Jan. 19 in the 100 block of W. Hillcrest Drive. The crime occurred in the 200 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard. He was also charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

A female, 18, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol at 8:50 p.m. Jan. 20 at Avenida de Los Arboles and Calle Haya.

A female, 47, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at 5:49 p.m. Jan. 18 at Erbes Road and La Granada Drive.

On suspicion of being under the influence of controlled substances, the following people were arrested: A male, 25, at 12:32 p.m. Jan. 23 in the 3000 block of Los Robles Road; and a male, 41, at 5:50 p.m. Jan. 21 in the 600 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

Acacia Elementary School was vandalized with graffiti between Jan. 18 and 22. The damage was estimated at $1,050.

Somebody attempted to steal property at Glenwood Elementary School between 2 and 3 p.m. Jan. 21.

At Pinecrest School in the 400 block of E. Wilbur Road, a school bus and building were spray painted with graffiti, a window was broken and roof tiles were damaged between Jan. 19 and 22. The damage estimate is $700.

Gang graffiti was recently discovered at a flood control channel, south of Calle Zafiro.

Vehicle break-ins were reported on the following dates and places: On Jan. 18 or 19 in the 2900 block of Los Feliz Drive (front passenger side window broken, stereo stolen); on Jan. 19 or 20 in the 100 block of Triangle Street; on Jan. 19 or 20 in the 800 block of Warwick Avenue (stereo stolen); on Jan. 19 or 20 in the 1300 block of Whitehall Place (window smashed); on the early morning of Jan. 19 in the 1900 block of Los Feliz Drive (front passenger window broken and cash stolen); on Jan. 18 in the 300 block of Rolling Oaks Drive (a tool, navigation system and courier bag were stolen); on Jan. 17 or 18 in the 800 block of Camino La Maida; on Jan. 17 or 18 in the 3000 block of N. Potter Avenue; on Jan. 17 or 18 in the 2800 block of White Ridge Street; on Jan. 17 or 18 in the 300 block of Rolling Oaks Drive; on Jan. 17 or 18 in the 1900 block of Deerfield Street (unlocked); on Jan. 17 or 18 in the 1200 block of N. Calle Castano; on Jan. 17 or 18 in the 2800 block of White Ridge Place; on Jan. 17 or 18 in the 300 block of Rolling Oaks Drive; on Jan. 17 or 18 in the 700 block of Calle Cardo (unlocked); on Jan. 17 or 18 in the 2800 block of White Ridge Place (window smashed); on Jan. 17 or 18 in the 1300 block of E. Hillcrest Drive (front passenger window broken); on Jan. 17 or 18 in the 800 block of Chestnut Avenue (two unlocked vehicles); on Jan. 16 or 17 in the 400 block of E. Wilbur Road; and on Jan. 17 in the 400 block of E. Wilbur Road (unlocked).

A vehicle was scratched with an unknown object between 6 and 7:30 p.m. Jan. 14 in the 100 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

Tires were punctured on a vehicle on Jan. 17 or 18 in the 2000 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

Property was stolen from someone's home on Jan. 19 or 20 in the 1500 block of Stoddard Avenue.

On suspicion of driving a vehicle that was reported as stolen, a male, 34, was arrested at 1:06 p.m. Jan. 18 at Rolling Oaks and Los Padres drives.

A male, 25, was arrested and charged with indecent exposure at 2:45 p.m. Jan. 18 in the 1300 block of Windsor Drive.

On suspicion of battery involving serious injury, a male, 19, was arrested at 3:55 p.m. Jan. 18 in the 100 block of Tennyson Street. The crime occurred in the 1400 block of Fordham Avenue.

Someone was caught allegedly shoplifting from Sports Chalet around 11:35 a.m. Jan. 21 in the 1300 block of N. Moorpark Road.

Shoplifting occurred at a business in the 100 block of W. Hillcrest Drive between 1 and 1:30 p.m. Jan. 21.

Three people reportedly stole merchandise from the Apple Store in the 400 block of W. Hillcrest Drive between 2:30 and 3 p.m. Jan. 21.

Graffiti was discovered on bathroom stalls in a Chuck E. Cheese on Hillcrest Drive Jan. 21.

A male, 25, was arrested and charged with shoplifting at 11:53 a.m. Jan. 21 in the 1300 block of N. Moorpark Road.

On charges of being involved in a fight and refusing to obey a deputy, a male, 44, was arrested at 2:58 p.m. Jan. 18 in the first block of E. Hillcrest Drive.

Somebody purposely pushed a shopping cart with his vehicle into someone else's automobile, causing $350 in damage around 9:30 p.m. Jan. 18 in the 1700 block of E. Avenida de Los Arboles.

Estella Park's restroom facilities were targeted with spray paint graffiti on Jan. 16 or 17.

Property was stolen from a business around 1:30 p.m. Jan. 18 in the 200 block of N. Moorpark Road.

On charges of committing burglary, three males, 36, 27 and 19 were arrested at 9:30 p.m. Jan. 18 in the 300 block of N. Moorpark Road.

Merchandise was stolen around 5:35 p.m. Jan. 20 in the 300 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

Bicycles were stolen from someone's home between 12:45 and 3:30 p.m. Jan. 19 in the 500 block of Calle Jazmin.

Property valued at more than $400 was stolen between Dec. 14 and Jan. 19 in the 3200 block of S. Campus Drive.

Lost property wasn't returned to its rightful owner between last June and Jan. 21.

A male, 28, was arrested on a burglary charge at the Salvation Army on E. Hillcrest Drive at 8:15 p.m. Jan. 19.

Auto parts were stolen on the morning of Jan. 17 in the 600 block of Shenandoah Street.

Shoplifting occurred at Blockbuster Video on Avenida de Los Arboles between 4:11 and 5:11 p.m. Jan. 22.

A generator was stolen from the back of a pickup on Jan. 17 or 18 in the 3100 block of Calle Estepa.

Automotive parts were stolen from a business at 6:10 a.m. Jan. 19 in the 3100 block of Los Feliz Drive.

Merchandise was stolen from Best Buy on N. Moorpark Road at 9:30 p.m. Jan. 18.

A person entered someone's home without permission between Jan. 1 and 15 in the 400 block of Azalea Street.

A bedroom window was smashed between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. Jan. 22 in the 200 block of Gazania Court.

A male, 26, was cited for taking water from someone at 7:11 a.m. Jan. 19 in the vicinity of Erbes Road and the 23 Freeway.

Property was stolen around 6 a.m. Jan. 23 at the intersection of Lakewood Place and Lakewood Court.

On suspicion of being drunk in public, the following subjects were arrested: A female, 38, at noon Jan. 22 in the 100 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard; and a male, 45, at 1:34 a.m. Jan. 20 in the 1000 block of Hollyhock Court.

Westlake

A male, 34, was arrested and charged with fighting at 1:20 a.m. Jan. 20 in the 2800 block of Agoura Road

A vehicle break-in occurred on Jan. 22 or 23 in the 3100 block of W. Sierra Drive.
