Class open to learn pet first aid

The Conejo Recreation and Park District invites the community to the Petsaver class from 1 to 5 p.m. Sat., Feb. 23 at Hillcrest Center, 403 W. Hillcrest Drive.
The class will cover topics on dog and cat care, including rescue breathing, choking management, wellness assessment, heat injuries, poisoning, bleeding protocols, bites and stings, dental care, injury assessment and care for senior pets.
Each participant will receive a 42-page Petsaver book and a certificate upon completion of the class.
Participants are asked to leave pets at home.
The class costs $35 for local community members, $42 for outof-district residents.
