A TREE GROWS IN MALIBU- Steve Cohen and his son Jordan, 8, of Agoura Hills plant a tree native to the Santa Monica Mountains as part of TuB'Shevat, Jewish Arbor Day. Forty-five congregants from Temple Adat Elohim in Thousand Oaks gathered at Paramount Ranch in rural Malibu to weed nonnative plants and restore natural trees and shrubbery to the area.
