Monterey Jazz Festival Band coming to CLU
The Monterey Jazz Festival 50th anniversary Band will perform 8 p.m. Wed., Jan. 23 in the Samuelson Chapel at California Lutheran University, 60 W. Olsen Road, Thousand Oaks.

The concert will feature a mix of standards from all the jazz eras. Blanchard received Grammy nominations for the piece, in the Best Jazz Instrumental Solo and Best Large Jazz Ensemble Album categories.
Admission is free. The CLU performance is the only Ventura County stop on the tour.
The performance is sponsored by CLU's Artists and Speakers Series. Donations will be accepted.
