Players schedules auditions

The Conejo Players will hold auditions for "Agatha Christie Takes Manhattan" at 7 p.m. Sun., Jan. 20 and 7:30 p.m. Mon., Jan. 21 and Tues., Jan. 22 at the theater, 351 S. Moorpark Road in Thousand Oaks.

Bring a resume and a list of all conflicts with rehearsal schedule, and be prepared to read from the script.

The play is a murder mystery about a theater company that recruits Agatha Christie to direct a new stage whodunit.

Characters include Agatha Christie, mystery writer, 60s; Cynthia Grove-Hewitt, Agatha's niece, 20s; Stevey Hobbes, Agatha's longtime assistant, 30s; Rip Morrison, a millionaire oil tycoon from Oklahoma, 40s; Barney Greenbaum, character actor, 60s; Zelda Albright, former leading lady, 50s; Drake McCormick, a Shakespearean actor, 50s; Sarah Kirby, a policewoman, 30s.
