Rehearsals begin for 'Cinderella'

The Southern California Children's Theatre invites adults and children ages 5 and up to its workshop program/production of "Cinderella."

Registration and the first rehearsal will begin at 2 p.m. Sun., Jan. 6 at the Hillcrest Center for the Arts, 403 W. Hillcrest Drive, Thousand Oaks. Rehearsals continue on Sundays and culminate in performances April 11 to 13 at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza.

Cost for the workshop is $200 plus an additional $5 fee for each rehearsal.

This is a nonprofit children's theater that began in 1991 with both amateur and professional working actors of all ages performing together. Agents and casting directors often attend productions.
