Cabrillo Music Theatre to present 'Ain't Misbehavin' Cabrillo Music Theatre will present the Fats Waller musical show "Ain't Misbehavin'" from Fri. to Sun., Jan. 4 through 13 at the Kavli Theatre, Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, 2100 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd. The show, celebrating its 30th anniversary, is the first musical revue to win a Tony Award for Best Musical. Cabrillo's production is directed and staged by original Broadway cast member Ken Page. Darryl Archibald is the musical director and onstage band conductor, with Marvin Thornton as choreographer. "Ain't Misbehavin'" is a tribute to the music of 1920s icon Fats Waller and features such songs as "This Joint is Jumpin'," "Honeysuckle Rose," "I'm Gonna Sit Right Down and Write Myself a Letter," "I Can't Give You Anything But Love" and the title tune. Five cast members and a sevenmember band will perform music from mid-20th century America. Performances are Thursday through Saturday at 8 p.m., Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m. and Sun., Jan. 6 at 7 p.m. A post-show discussion with cast, staff and audience will follow the Jan. 5 matinee performance.
