      Oaks Christian is on the verge of history- again. Earlier this season, the Lions won their 48th consecutive game, setting the record for the longest winning streak in CIF-Southern Section history, according to CalHiSports.com.

CVU team reaches perfection on the pitch
      PERFECT SEASON- The Conejo Valley United U-13 soccer club completed a 14-0 season in the Coast Soccer League, winning the division title. The team scored 68 goals and allowed only 10. Team members are from Agoura, Oak Park, Thousand Oaks, Moorpark and Simi Valley.

Home-schooled hoops players sought
      Liberty Christian Academy is announcing the start of its 2008 basketball season for boys in the ninth grade (13 or 14 years old). LCA will play against other home school and Christian teams in the area and will also compete in seasonal tournaments. This is the first year of the program.
