Moscow Nights show features Russian music

Performances To Grow On will present its second Fresh Roasted Concert with Moscow Nights featuring the music of Russia at 7:30 p.m. Sat., Dec. 8 at the Matilija Auditorium, 703 El Paseo Road, Ojai.

Moscow Nights is a trio of prize-winning, classically trained musicians from Russia. The ensemble, based in Cleveland, Ohio, has two CDs and one video available.

The repertoire is centered on masterpieces of Russian folklore and represents the diversity of the culture. The program presents an authentic picture of Russian folk traditions and culture, with balalaikas, Bayan accordion, Treshotky and Loshky, dances and vocals.
