Locals make college commitments

A trio of area athletes recently signed their National Letter of Intent to play college sports.

Kelsey Conway of La Reina High will compete on the golf team at College of William and Mary in Virginia. Conway was a three-time MVP in the Frontier and Tri-Valley leagues.

Graham Johnson, a 6-foot-5 right-handed pitcher from Westlake High, will play baseball at Fresno State. He also had offers from UC Irvine and Cal-State Northridge.

Lastly, Thousand Oaks High swimmer Camille Duckett has committed to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, where she's expected to pursue a major in graphic communications with a minor in landscape design.

Duckett has been a longtime member of Conejo Simi Aquatics.
