Chorale will sing in holidays

The Village Voices Chorale will present a concert of holiday music at 8 p.m. Fri., Dec. 7 and 2:30 p.m. Sat., Dec. 8 at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza Scherr Forum Theatre.

The 70voice chorale will feature Christmas carols, Hanukkah songs and holiday favorites.

The show is directed by Gloria Hilliard and accompanied by Christine DeKlotz.

The Village Voices Chorale has performed since 1969 a blend of music ranging from classical to Broadway to modern. The nonprofit organization makes financial contributions to support vocal music programs in the public schools and provides scholarships for students majoring in voice.
