Holiday working artists show

Five prominent local fine artists will unveil new original works and create many more during the 2007 Holiday Working Artist Show and Exhibition in December at the Thousand Oaks Community Gallery, 2331A Borchard Road, Newbury Park.

The awardwinning artists include Pong Apinyavat (watercolor), Bob Engel (oil), Ron McKee (oil), Irv Morgan (watercolor), and Julie and Craig Morton (digital).

The group will transform the gallery into a working studio where new paintings will be continuously created by participating artists. Guests may meet the artists, watch them work and view locally created fine art.

The show will open on Tues., Dec. 4, with a reception from 1 to 4 p.m. Sat., Dec. 8. The exhibit continues through Dec. 30.
