Local youths called to the Torah

The following people were recently called to the Torah at Temple Etz Chaim, 1080 Janss Road, Thousand Oaks:

Joshua Yazdizadeh was called to the Torah as a bar mitzvah on Oct. 20. He's the son of Kimberly and Fred Yazdizadeh of Thousand Oaks and an eighth-grader at Los Cerritos Middle School.

Aaron Zucherman was called to the Torah as a bar mitzvah on Oct. 27. He's an eighth-grader at Redwood Middle School and the son of Inez and Mark Zucherman of Thousand Oaks.

David Davidander Rodriguez Drewniany was called to the Torah as a bar mitzvah on Nov. 3. He's the son of Stephanie and Aaron Haptman of Newbury Park and an eighthgrader at Sequoia Middle School.

Alex Bugaisky was called to the Torah as a bar mitzvah on Nov. 3. He's an eighthgrader at Sycamore Canyon Middle School and the son of Gabriele and Larry Bugaisky of Newbury Park.
