Young Artists to present 'The Secret Garden'

The Young Artists Ensemble presents "The Secret Garden" through Sun., Nov. 18 at the Theatre on the Hill, 403 W. Hillcrest Drive, Thousand Oaks.

The musical by Lucy Simon and Marsha Norman is based on the book by Frances Hodgson Burnett. The production is directed by Michael Fischer.

The play tells the story of Mary Lennox, a young girl sent to live with her uncle, a widower who grieves the loss of his wife and doesn't know how to deal with his ailing son.

Life is joyless for Mary until she discovers a hidden garden.

Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Fridays, 2 and 7:30 p.m. Saturdays and 12:30 and 4 p.m. Sundays.

Evening performances are $16.50 adult, $13.50 child/student/ senior.

Matinees are $13.50 adult, $11.50 child/student/senior. Tickets are available at the box office.
