Hard rock concert will benefit L.A. Union Rescue Mission Making It Big Productions will present a benefit hard rock concert at 6 p.m. Sat., Nov. 17 at Kung Foo Corner, 5700 Corsa Ave., Ste. 111, Westlake Village. The show will benefit the Union Rescue Mission in Los Angeles, a shelter and clinics that help the homeless in downtown's Skid Row. Bands scheduled to perform are the Knife Jockeys, The Unborn, Rebels From The Waist Down, Break Free, The Stine Homicide, The Linden Murder and Embrace the Fall. Free T-shirts and other prizes will be given away at the show. Tickets are $10 and all proceeds will be donated. Making It Big Productions was founded by Kevin Sloan and Monarch Recording, owned by Michael Senderovich. The two local companies support local bands of all genres.
