Depression support group to meet

The Conejo Valley Depression Support Group meets in Oak Park at 7 p.m. Mondays at the Church of the Epiphany education building, Room 6, 5450 Churchwood Drive. The group provides information and encouragement.

Dr. Stephen S. Ilardi at the University of Kansas has developed a program that focuses on lifestyle to treat depression.

The program recommends exercise, omega fatty acids, 30 minutes of sunlight a day, not dwelling on negative thoughts, social support and good sleep habits.
