Insurance fraud charges dismissed

Judge Rebecca Riley has dismissed two felony charges against Lorrie Dingman of Thousand Oaks.

Dingman, 40, had been charged with insurance fraud by the Ventura County district attorney's office.

After a full day of testimony in a Nov. 7 preliminary hearing, Riley dismissed all charges after finding insufficient evidence.

Dingman was represented by attorney Philip R. Dunn of Westlake Village.
