La Reina to host open house

La Reina High School invites eighth-grade girls to a Step-Up Day from 9 a.m. to noon Fri., Nov. 16 at the school, 106 W. Janss Road, Thousand Oaks.

Guests will meet students and learn about the school's academics and activities. For registration information, call Karen Moore, director of admissions, at (805) 495-6494, ext. 307.

An open house for prospective students and their parents is planned for Sun., Dec 2 from 1 to 4 p.m. Students will lead campus tours and faculty, parents and alumnae will be available to answer questions.

Reservations for the open house are not necessary. Applications for 200809 may be requested by calling (805) 9177111 or downloaded from www.lareina.com.

La Reina is a Catholic, college preparatory junior and senior high school for girls in grades seven through 12. The school was established in 1964 and sponsored by the Sisters of Notre Dame. All of the graduates from the Class of 2007 enrolled in college.
