Bottled water provideto shelters, firefighter

During the recent Southern California fires, Regal Medical Group, a regional independent physician organization based in Northridge, donated 10,000 bottles of water for firefighters and victims of fire-ravaged areas. The water was delivered to the Los Angeles Fire Department, which in turn distributed the water to the areas affected.

Capt. Stacy Gerlich of the Los Angeles Fire Department said that water will be distributed to shelters and firefighters throughout fire-ravaged areas.

Cindy Gerstl, vice president of human resources at Regal Medical Group, said, "As a company of healthcare professionals, Regal Medical Group feels a special connection to those in need."

Gerstl represented Regal Medical Group at the donation ceremony, which was held at a local fire station. Gerlich accepted the donation on behalf of the fire department.
