Social Justice Fund gets major grant

The Social Justice Fund of Ventura County has received a $200,000 grant from the James Irvine Foundation.

The grant will help the organization develop funding, leadership and infrastructure, and expand its services and education activities.

In 2008, the fund will provide a minimum of $50,000 in financial grants and support to county organizations that reduce inequities and discrimination and increase social justice.
