Do stupid smokers ever learn?

I ramped onto the 23 Freeway tonight at 8:30 p.m. just in time to see a driver flick a live cigarette out the window, just a half-mile southbound of the Avenida de Los Arboles exit.

Then, 90 minutes later, again just half a mile up the northbound side of the 23 Freeway from Avenida de Los Arboles, I witnessed the same thing.

I'm new to Southern California wildfires and have been in awe of the efforts made by first responders.

Wouldn't you just love to put these cigarette flickers on the fire lines and see how long they'd last? Judy Baumhover Thousand Oaks
