Editor should obey his own standards

In a recent T.O. Acorn editorial, the editor referred to those who want to limit the expansion of The Oaks mall as "fanatics chirping their sorry song." In your Oct. 18 edition of the Acorn , you characterized opinions expressed by City Council members--with which you disagree--as "whines."

Isn't it just a little ironic, even comical, that in the same editorial you declare, referring to the controversy over a proposed equestrian faculty, "Just because you disagree, there's no reason to display disrespect"?
